Hair aesthesiometer according to v. Frey to determine the stimulus threshold. The hair is fixed on a wire, that fits into the capillaries of the sliding sleeves and can be pushed out of the capillary by sliding the graduated sleeve more or less. The upsetting resistance, that is corresponding with the free standing end, can be calibrated by a balance resp. the scale indicates the pressure. The readjustment of the hair length is only possible by desengaging the cone-shaped screw joint in the centre. (compare: von Frey; unters. ü. d. Sinnesfunkt. d. menschl. Haut. Abhandl. d. Sächs.
