Friedrich Strube Saatzucht; 1911 establishes an experimental station in Guty (Russia) concerned with the seed reproduction for the eastern seed market and examening his own seeds regarding winter-firmness; 1913 founding of an examination station on the ouskirts of the Lüneburger Heide (heathland) to examine the cultivation on light habitat; technical upgrading of the enterprise.
