Tigerstedt's recording lever. A light lever, that is positioned between the points, opens a contact in correspondance to the contractions of the muscle. A second separated circuit line leads to the hook for the muscels, which serves also as an adjustable point of contact for the lever. Wet chamber. A clamp is mounted below a glass bell, that is adjustable from outside, so that the muscle may be connected with the writing lever vertically as well as lying over an inclinable table. The table has three pairs of contacts, which correspond with the same number of pole terminals outside the chamber and with which the muscle is stimulated on longer and shorter distances. A spring clamp for the circuit line permit the fast changing from one pole terminal to the other. The lateral arrangement of the muscles permits the most possible approach to the drum, with tripod. The apparatus is mounted on the table of the microscope and permits the direct measurement of the curve coordinates by a micrometer screw and a graduated drum up to an accuracy of 0,01 mm. The rectangularly crossing slides are adjustable up to 35 mm and their scale indicates full millimeters. (Kurvenmeßtisch nach v. Curve analyzer (curve plotter, opisometer?) for the analysis of big curves up to 250 mm length and 180mm height. The glass parallel gauge for the length may be adjusted by a millimeter screw with 0,01 mm graduated drum and it may be moved perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis in a slide. The height of ordinates is indicated on a scale in full millimeters and on the micrometerscrew in the centre in 0,01 mm. The apparatus is mounted turnable on a plate with flexible joints. Due to the graduation on the lower surface, parallactic observation errors are avoided. The apparatus guarantees an exact and comfortable operation. Marey's tambour with fine adjustment of the writing point. The micrometer screw M is counteracting against the spiral spring, so that a very secure, shockless adjustment is guaranteed. Marey's tambour with a 3,5 cm long air capsule with equilibristic writing lever (stylus), of which the transmission proportion varies by shifting the axis support. The point bearing and adjustment of the recording lever corresponds to n° 3760.
