This microscope is probably a Leitz-Microscope as it is shown in the 1901 catalog from the Cambridge Scientific Instruments Company (fig. 13).
The Messingmikroskop (Stativ Typ Ia) von Ernst Leitz aus Wetzlar, 1888 seems to be the same device.
Other photographs show that the stand in this form is typical of Leitz microscopes.
