	Comment	The attachment on the front of the magic lantern is Münsterberg’s apparatus for mixing colors by the combination of colored gelatine papers. The papers were slipped into place like lenses, being mounted on levers. The same device is shown on another photo from Münsterberg, 1893 or see the related experiment on its own.
